Directions to Our Church Parking
Finding our church is easy. And because we're situated on a hill, you can even see our steeple jutting above the tree line like a beacon from downtown Portland.
Follow the steps below. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Parking information is at the bottom of this page.

From Portland and points north:
You'll need to cross the Portland/South Portland bridge. To do so
from 295, simply take the Forest Avenue exit, South, to State Street.
Follow State Street all the way through Portland: this will take
you to the South Portland bridge.
Coming off the bridge, you'll see your
first traffic light. Go straight through this light (you are now
on Broadway), straight through the next light (Route 77 intersection),
then turn right at the third traffic light. This will put you on
Cottage Road.
You'll know you're at the third light
when you see Pratt Abbott to your left (see second map below), just
before you make the turn, and the Church of the Holy Cross will
be on your left after you make the turn.
Follow this street through one traffic
light and bear left up the hill. As you start to climb the hill,
you'll see our church ahead of you.
From South Portland, Cape Elizabeth
and points south:
If you're coming from 295, take the Portland Waterfront/Commercial
Street exit and, after going through the rotary, follow Commercial
Street until you see the sign for South Portland. That will put
you on the Portland/South Portland bridge. Follow the directions
above.
If you're coming up Broadway, follow
that until you come to Cottage Road (with Pratt Abbott on your left)
and take a right. Follow Cottage Road until you come to the church.
If you're coming up Route 77 from Cape
Elizabeth, take a right on Broadway and then another right at the
next light (Pratt Abbott to your left). Follow Cottage Road until
you come to the church.

Parking:
We have two parking lots. The larger one accommodating about 45
cars and the smaller one, about 15. There is handicap parking in
the larger lot, with access ramps through Wright Pavilion (the octagonal
building), and in the front of the church building (along Cottage
Road). An elevator inside allows easy access to all floors within
the church.
