Opportunities for Adults

Deepen Your Spiritual Experience

Please see the Adult Faith Enrichment Programs page for the latest information about courses, groups and events for adult members, friends and visitors to the church.

Opportunties include the Women's Spirituality Circle, Eskimo Men's Club, the Hilltop Guild, Pilgrims & Pints, PETER (a ministry for the semi-adventurous), the Parenting Group, retreats and more. There are also study opportunities and other fun to be had.

Volunteer Your Time to Our Local Community

Wayside Evening Soup Kitchen

On the first Saturday of each month, 5:30 - 7:30 in Portland, volunteers from our congregation serve about 200 meals. Most needed are table servers. For additional volunteer opportunities, please see the Mission/Outreach page.

Teach the Children

Christian Education Programs for Children Pre-K - 8th Grade Volunteer opportunities for all levels of involvement are open in the children’s Christian Education programs. Possibilities include teaching, office helpers, superintendents or nursery coordinators. Call us (799-3361) or email Elsa Peters our Associate Minister to let us know you’d like to help and we’ll find the right job for you and your gifts! Thank you!
